Snagging inspection and survey Westminster London
We were asked to undertake a snagging inspection and survey, prior to completion, at the Chimes development in Westminster London. The recently completed development by Pegasus Life has a collection of 39, two and three bedroom apartments starting at a starting price of £1,555,000. The specification is of a high standard and, overall, a good finish however there were various decorative issues and defects that will require rectification prior to our client completing. Our snagging inspection report ran to 31 pages with just under 70 snagging issues and defects.
COMMON CONCERNS:
1. Extremely low water pressure throughout property - further investigation required.
2. No water supply to en-suite bath, shower head and rinser.
3. Hall ceiling patchy and uneven finish.
4. Window grille areas and interior panels extremely dirty with debris built up at base.
5. Living and kitchen ceiling patchy and uneven.
6. A number of doors are rattling in their frames.
7. Smoke alarms and vents not flush with ceiling.
